Where is the crankshaft position sensor on a 2004 Grand Am?

If memory serves me right it is located under the oil filter, it is difficult to see. Get a good flashlight and see if there are some wires going under the oil filter. The location varies on different engines so be careful what you pull out; I might be wrong. 2 people found this helpful. via
